Felicia & Gabey Davis!
The Davis Family of Waterford, WI will be receiving a new heating system on October 14th, courtesy of H. J. Faust, Inc. and Lennox through the Feel the Love program.
In Waterford, Felicia Davis is championing a distinctive approach to fitness. She’s taken the rigorous world of CrossFit and reshaped it with her Unique Abled CrossFit Program, ensuring it’s inclusive for those with diverse abilities.
CrossFit, by nature, is demanding. Yet, Davis perceived an opportunity within its structure to make it accessible to a broader audience. Instead of merely adjusting the intensity, she’s innovating by customizing exercises for each individual. Beyond just physical workouts, she’s fostering a community atmosphere where participants motivate each other and share their journey.
Felicia was inspired by her wife, Gabey, who previously worked with children with diverse abilities. After the birth of their son, Gabey has decided to become a stay at home mom to help raise their family and coach along side Felicia.
Felicia’s initiative hasn’t gone unnoticed. Community members from her local Crossfit Gym, Crossfit Syndicate, nominated her for The Lennox Feel the Love program, which recognizes outstanding community contributions and provides a free furnace to those in need.
For the Davis Family, this recognition is not just about the tangible gift of a heating or cooling system but is a symbolic nod to her efforts, determination, and the warmth she brings to the Waterford community. Through programs like Feel The Love, entities like Lennox prove that it’s often a collective effort that truly celebrates and uplifts the heroes among us.
