Rick & Tammy Rehberg and Family.
The Rehberg Family of Burlington, WI will be receiving a new heating system on October 15th, courtesy of H. J. Faust, Inc. and Lennox through the Feel the Love program.
Juniors in high school should be beginning to think about prom, where they might be go to college or what to do on Friday night. Not spending time in hospitals and worrying about treatments. Unfortunately, for Rehberg family has been living in the terror of childhood cancer for the last 9 months when their son, Nathan Rehberg, was diagnosed with AML Child Leukemia.
Nathan Rehberg is the 17 year old son of Rick & Tammy Rehberg, and a junior Burlington High School who is heavily involved in FFA and agriculture. He spent over 5 months in Children’s Hospital Milwaukee receiving 3 rounds of intense chemotherapy treatments with his family close by his side as his biggest supporter. In June, Rick Rehberg was able to give his son a bone marrow transplant once Nate was in remission. In late July, Nate was able to come home. However, his immune system continues to be extremely compromised. The Burlington and surrounding communities rallied support through many ways to make this family feel supported through the expensive fight.
A good friend of Tammy told her son’s story through a Feel the Love nomination and we are excited that they can rest easy knowing that HJ Faust and Lennox are here to support them.
